Hello Rebecca,

Are you using a PC or a Mac? I can't really help if it is the latter as I've no real experience of using one.

If you are using a PC, you can find paint in the start menu. Open the start menu, select "All Programs" and then "Accessories". Paint should be listed amongst the programs there.

Hope this helps,
David.

I don't know how to "open up Paint". Is that a program? I have seen such things in iPhoto when you are editing a photo...I am lost!

Hi Moira,

Sorry for the delay in answering you. Unfortunately you didn't leave me an email address, so I can only leave the instructions here and assume you'll come back at some point and find them.

It isn't possible to insert a google map into a word document by cutting and pasting the HTML. You need to be a bit more devious:

1. Ensure that the map you require is displayed in its entirety on the screen.
2. Press the print screen button.
3. Open up Paint and select Paste from the Edit menu.
4. Make sure the selection tool is active and select just the map part of screen image.
5. Crop the map image
6. Select "Select all" and "Copy" from the Edit menu.
7. Go to Word, and use Ctrl-V to paste the graphic into the document.
